LG microwave – Troubleshooting Keypad Not responding

If you are unable to press buttons on your keypad, the CHILD LOCK may be activated.

Try it

1. Press and hold [START/ENTER] until a lock or L indicator appears in the display.
2. If the [STOP/CLEAR] buttons on your model do not show a lock indicator, consult your owner’s handbook for information on child locks.
3. Unplug microwave for two to three minutes.
4. Re-plug the microwave, and then try to operate the controls.
